The age of sixteen marks a turning point in our lives. On our sixteenth birthday we are given an extra measure of independence and maturity. During this chapter of our life, we are in high school where the choices we make have an impact that shapes the rest of our life. We have the choice to be responsible or irresponsible. Prior to this point in our lives, others have shouldered the burden of responsibility for us. Are we going to be a giver in society, or a taker?
